The student ministries here at Eastern Heights Baptist Church focus on teaching the word of God to every opportunity we get. God tells us in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Jesus is our rock! Here is some information to help you know what is going on:
Sunday Morning Bible Study-
On Sunday Mornings, from 9:30 until 10:30, is our Sunday Morning Bible Study where we simply study God’s word together and Sunday Morning Worship is from 10:45 - 12pm. Bible Study leaders are Lonnie Hoelscher and Sandy Gabby.
Digging In -
Periodically we have on Sunday Nights in the Youth Room from 5-6pm in depth small group studies. Please check with us to see what is going on currently. During our small groups, we have a time of getting to know each other. The latter half of the evening consists of us opening up and doing a study together learning what God has for us! Concluding with a time of prayer.
Tupos Student Worship-
Every Wednesday night from 6pm - 7:30pm, we come together as a student ministry for fun, excitement, and a time of worship. Throughout the course of the month, our worship will take on different aspects, whether it be a time of prayer, singing, learning God’s word, or sometimes a time of games...regardless, it is always going to leave you wanting MORE!
Out N About-
Almost every month, we go Out N About and serve our community or just do something fun. Sometimes these activities can include our summer camp (Falls Creek), mission trips (World Changers), and concerts (Winter Jam). Serving others is a wonderful part of our relationship with Christ!
Jesus said in Luke 9.23 that “if anyone wants to follow me, he MUST deny himself, take up his cross DAILY, and follow.” That is my prayer for you, that through our student ministry, you will develop a deeper relationship with Christ Jesus!
